The Secretariat of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (APJCCI) serves as the operational arm of the Chamber, responsible for implementing its policies, programs, and decisions. It provides administrative, technical, and coordination support to the President, office bearers, and the Executive Committee to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization. The Secretariat manages communication with members, business partners, and relevant government and diplomatic institutions of both countries. It also oversees event organization, project execution, documentation, and day-to-day management of Chamber affairs. Through its dedicated team, the Secretariat plays a crucial role in maintaining institutional continuity, delivering member services, and promoting the Chamber’s mission to strengthen bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. The Secretary General is the overall incharge of the Secretariat.
Mohammed Awais Malik - Secretary General
Mohammed Awais Malik serves as the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry (APJCCI). With over two decades of professional experience, he has held key leadership positions in the insurance and media sectors and has been instrumental in organizing major corporate events, election campaigns, international expos, and business tours. He has actively participated in international human rights initiatives and represented Pakistan in numerous global conferences and training programs. A dedicated professional, he continues to contribute effectively to strengthening trade and economic linkages between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, while bringing his expertise in communication, administration, and media engagement to the Chamber’s initiatives.
Majid Shabbir - Advisor
Majid Shabbir is a seasoned management professional with over three decades of experience in trade and investment promotion. During his long association with the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as Secretary General, he played a leading role in organizing policy dialogues, roundtable conferences and taking initiatives for promoting trade, investment through B2B linkages. He has been a strong advocate for youth entrepreneurship and women’s economic empowerment, working towards inclusive and sustainable economic policies. As Advisor to the Azerbaijan Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry (APJCCI), he continues to contribute his expertise to strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing business partnerships between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
